Re: Cubix Pro
Just going to add this note Richard lent me some interconnect cables while I was moving the Pro's around so I could then order the correct length TIS cables. My original TIS interconnect cable was with Richard as I was hoping I could cut it up and re-use but that was not the case so needed them back at full length. Anyway when I fitted them one of the earths failed and I got a nice loud buzzing from one speaker bringing on a small amount a panic as I thought I had blow an amp/speaker. Turns out it was just a cable good news then. So I have been using just two speakers a side and I have to say these are great not as much bass as three speakers per side but they still sound awesome.

Re: Cubix Pro
Yep. Heard the two-up Cubix Pro at the Doc's and they certainly sounded good. Having to make do with my plain ole Cubix though.

Re: Cubix Pro
Update ok so I spent several days over Christmas moving the Cubic Pro around and yes I know they are heavy actually very heavy so I cheated and was setting up with just two per side to get close to where I think they need to be so far they are 40cm (16") out into the room at about 15 degrees and they are sounding vey good had the wife complaining about the door rattling when they where only 15cm out and playing my favorite Pink Floyd LP Wish you where here (I did have it turned right up) DSOM sound great to

With those in the room, how about the soundtrack to 2001 - A space oddyssey?

Re: Cubix Pro
I think you mean 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' by Richard Strauss.
Yes, a very good piece of music for system testing and impression. Nice suggestion.

Re: Cubix Pro
That was used as the title theme but now when the monolith appear (I think). The soundtrack included Strauss: Blue Danube Waltz; Kachaturian and other tunes.
I wish I'd seen the trailer before I saw the film - I might have understood more.

Now I wish I hadn't started looking: Leonard Rossiter was in it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062622/?ref_=nm_knf_t1
