OK Doc.

I'll leave well alone and enjoy what I have created.

Its a strange one, since doping yesterday the tweeters have sounded really good, I can't criticise them at all. So what I was hearing prior to doping must have been some bad juju coming from the midbass colouring the treble.

I have it from the horses mouth now that Bison Kit is the only synthetic rubber based adhesive that doesn't dry hard.

Good to know, I'll be trying your method next time.

Its my intention to try the mods on something a little better than the JPW's now I know they work so well... Not sure what yet though

Would you say the speakers that you've doped sound more forward or less in their presentation of the music than before.

By forward do you mean tonally misbalanced, or image position, or clearer, or something else.

Forward to me means aggressive/fatiguing, I suppose they err on that side of the spectrum yes but not massively so, as opposed to the inoffensive yet dull "BBC" sound. Prior to modifications they sounded boxy & uninteresting [certainly wouldn't hold my attention] but afterwards... the only word I can think of to describe them is "live", they sound live.

In a nutshell: Do you want it to sound like you're in the audience or on stage with the musicians ? 'Cos IMO Doc mods™ will give you the latter 8-)

I have to agree with your thoughts, musical performances makes more sense by not only being more detailed, but added to this instruments and voices sound far more realistic/natural because of the CLARITY that was not present before surgery.

Well worth doing the Doc Mods.
