Who'd have thought I'd ever find myself looking at something John Major had said and agreeing with every word? Certainly not me.

Worth remembering that Major was in favour of the EU in order to serve big business. You may think he is on the right side of the Brexit argument, now, but don't imagine that he has suddenly become some sort of social campaigner.

True, Paul, but his words could just as easily have been spoken by a Labour MP, no matter what his motives actually are. there's not one thing he says there that I can disagree with.

The company said on Tuesday the new factory was "well located for access to markets, suppliers and automotive talent".

That market would be the EU and global sales under EU trade regulations.

"The decision is the second major blow for Bridgend, where the initial site was due to open, as it had been planned to be beside the now-closed Ford engine plant.

Ford shut its factory in September after 40 years, with the loss of nearly 1,700 jobs, in a long line of car manufacturers to leave the UK or reduce output over Brexit concerns."

But, now, Bridgenders will see only sunlit uplands and queues to claim Universal Credit.

Still, every cloud ...less brown people! Blue passports (also made in France)! Mackerel on your cornflakes every morning!

Sir Jim Ratcliffe (the UK’s richest person) - Another shit deserting the sinking rats.

He's already fucked off to Monaco so he doesn't have to pay taxes here, and to avoid Brexit, which he supported vocally. His official status as a Monaco resident was recorded at Companies House, where he updated his details as a director of private jet company Hampshire Aviation. Still, he can have that nice Sir Phillip Green round for cocktails now they're both living in Monaco, or perhaps he'd prefer to rub elbows with John Hargreaves - the founder and chairman of Matalan - or Lewis Hamilton.

His wealth has increased by £1.25bn so far this year alone, despite the coronavirus pandemic. <sarcasm>I wonder how he managed that with only his mates in the cabinet and being able to duck his taxes to sustain him</sarcasm>
