Made a executive decision. No turkey, chicken legs boned stuffed and wrapped in bacon, the trimmings remain the same.
This freed up funds for some good single malts and a case of fine pino for the good lady.
Cant imagine I will remeber much of the rest of the evening :grin:
As far as I can remember this will be the only chrismas day we have spent without our kids.
May well need a lawyer in the new year :guiness;
ENJOY. :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:
PS. MUST stay away from turntable!
Yes, drunk in charge of a turntable is not a good idea :lol: Whoops there goes the cantilever :oops:

Well I survived cooking for 4 of my family and I'm pleased to say they survived my cooking. I glad it's over and I have a chance to play my new LPs.
Ps having broken a cantilever stone cold sober about a year ago I am terrified of a repeat so if it's a boozy session it's CD's or YouTube for my music

According to my mum, Christmas dinner was "lovely." Surely there can be no higher praise for a man's cooking. :lol:

My step son's Covid test came back positive this morning so it was Zoom all the way, from just down the road to London and Ireland. We went for a nice walk in the sunshine earlier. Now enjoying a few beers while my wife is cooking Christmas dinner for two. We are making the best of it.
We had the same, just came back our tests. and we are Negative again test number 4.
Stay well all.
