Let it be what it can be, please don't tell me what to do. I refine the possible, not play games with dreams.

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
You paid £20 too much so I have refunded it, otherwise I will get confused, which is not hard these days.
Opening post will be edited with up to date list of paid orders.

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
Hello all.
I need to ask a question. Notwithstanding my obvious appreciation of NVA kit (P50, A70's, Cube2's, SSP, LS5). Will the new NVA CD player be 'better' than my current Rega transport and DAC, or is the project aimed at bettering 'mediocre' integrated players, principally from Japan?
Just to be clear, I can't see past Richard's stuff as I've been dealing with the curmudgeonly genius for some 30 years give or take....
All advice and opinions are appreciated.

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
Go look at the reviews and reports on the 1990s players they would still sell now. But I have different idea for this, but WILL be at least as good because I know what I am doing. Do you really think I would put my reputation on the line for whim or to get £1800 in deposits

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
No of course not!
That's not what I'm asking you. No matter what you do to a Ford Escort, it will never be a Daimler. I understand and appreciate the use of HQ transports with good power supplies, but wanted your opinion on whether your CD player would match-up against a very reputable, well thought of, professional builder of high quality players.
Of course I'd like one of your units and I'm millimetres away from sending you £200. Everything else I've bought from you has been wonderful so a CD player will just add to that... I hope. Hence the Q.

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
All I can say is that I've heard the Doc's CD player and if that's the bar he's setting himself, he's setting it very high.kimangelis wrote:Hello all.
