Nadir Doris will support Johnson to the bitter end because she knows bloody well no other leader will give her a cabinet post.

The Cabinet members who have backed him are in fear of being destined for the back benches under another leader.

That's because she's as thick as a cabinet post.

The reality is that it does not matter how long the Bozo clings on to power, and with whom. The damage to this country is already significant and probably irreversable. Johnson/Mogg/Gove are just waiting for the keys to their Dacha's in Putin's Russia. what they are doing now is just marking time, they've already done the job Putin paid them to do. This is just the cherry on top.

She is 100/1 to be the next leader. Rees Mong is the other big outsider at 66/1. You can get 40/1 on Pretty Vacant. Each way prospects?

So, what should we call the current situation? I'm going for "Night Of The Fairly Short, Blunt, Knives".

I'm hearing rumours that the BBC Politics team will also be resigning from the Tory cabinet this evening.

The 1922 Committee are planning to change the rules so they can have another vote of no confidence in Boris Johnson, which, frankly, is ridiculous. Everyone knows you can't have a second vote, just because you didn't like the last result.

Liz Truss has attempted to fax her letter of resignation to No. 10 and has set fire to her toaster.

Nadine Dorries has attempted to email a message of support to the Prime Minister but has accidentally adopted a snow leopard.
