Going back some time I seem to recall drinking a beer called Palm when I was in Tilberg.. Is it still going? I don't think I came across it in Amsterdam.

Palm is another thoroughly enjoyable Belgian beer that is in every supermarket and off-licence.
Like to drink it occasionally.

Was just in the local Cash n Carry and thought of you lot on seeing this.
How many crates did you want, Savvy?
Got myself a bottle of Bushmills - now that's something I haven't tasted for a while.

A glass of Beaujolais Villages 2018.
Cheap and dry. Good whack of cherries, with a hint of dishcloth.

Mainly homebrew since Covid - has kept me occupied at home and surprisingly good results.
Highly recommend St Peter's Cream Stout, made three batches so far and has been consistently excellent (sorry that sounds arrogant, but it's true).
If buying then St Austell "proper job" - £1.50/bottle in various supermarkets, bargain

It is clear to me now why the Scots have a reputation for heavy boozing. It's always pissing it down.
