Thank you to all who have given feedback about the new theme. Please do continue to do so - it can take a while to explore and get used to. It's also worth looking through the features in the User Control Panel, to make sure you're getting the most from the site.

Thanks for the effort to get the site upgraded. I have a question and apologies if it’s been asked already but when I select a new topic I end up at the last post rather than the first. I’ve messed with ascending/descending but cannot fix it.

Any thoughts?

From the 'Recent Topics' section, the links will take you to the most recent post in the thread. Was it differenet before?

If you access the thread from the main part of the forum then you will land on the opening post.

Hi Paul, yes it appears the sections themselves work ok but “recent topics” takes me to the last post. It wasn’t like that before as 99% of the time I just use the recent section.

I had a look in the control panel for the Recent Topics extension (it's a plug-in, not a standard feature in phpbb). I don't see an option for setting a 'landing' preference, either way. Terry may know a way, from within the code.

The plug-in has either been amended by the author, or it behaves differently in the latest phpbb release (which we just upgraded to), or it behaves differently in the new skin.
