Having just googled to find out what a super tweeter is Doc, I would be interested to know if there is there one you have in mind for a job like this, and do they "add airiness" like Wikipedia claims?

I linked to it 6 posts ago, a cheap ebay one that will do the job. I would not have suggested it apart from he had a spare hole, modern tweeters don't need it. I am not sure he will hear any benefit (it wont sound worse) but it will definitely look a lot nicer and cost less that £30 to do it.

Just because it says something on the web it doesn't mean it is not bullshit.

I have had a very kind offer from a retired gentleman who lives near to me. He has offered to make a baffle that i can stick on the front of the cabs. All for free ! That way i can fit the 12" & 5" doc modded drivers in as well as the visaton G25 ffl.

Doc - please expect my driver order shortly

I have a spare pair of G25 you can have as well at cost. 5" here and done and dry. 12" I will have to order I don't hold them in stock and the doping process will take about a week with drying times.

Found an old cast iron man hole cover I forgot I had lying around. It looks perfect to cut up and put on the bottom panel of my cabs. May need some bumps grinding off one side but should be a winner. It will also help lower the cabs centre of gravity - little people will have problems trying to knock these over.

Thanks for the update Doc.

I will be getting excited very soon

Need to get my baffles sorted out, I have got all the steel I need but have not bought the tweeter protection components yet. Too many projects on the go, my head is spinning.

I can supply the tweeter bits, only a couple of quid so I will throw them in the box with the drivers FOC.
