Re: What Turntable
Specs are meaningless and open to corruption (it depends how the figure quoted is qualified) and have next to nothing to do with the music.

Re: What Turntable
Note the sudden drop in advertised S/N ratio quoted elsewhere for the Trio L07D. All specs. are based on some relative measure, you need to understand that measure. And, of course, good specs. don't means good music, they are mostly an advertising tool aimed at the primarily male hi-fi buying audience.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:Specs are meaningless and open to corruption (it depends how the figure quoted is qualified) and have next to nothing to do with the music.

Re: What Turntable
Surely it will give you a headache if you don't like it
I don't know what headshell it has on it but I thoroughly recommend you buy a Sumiko one at ebay, that and maybe some super duper headshell leads is all I would do. As I told you I have a new lid for it if you want it - cost me £50 to have made.

Kiddies and sweety shops and eye bigger than bellies! :D
If it sounds like mine (cheapo headshell, no special wires(yet)), you'll have plenty of fun. Take your time about it. That's most of the fun.
