I remember him initially from the band UK and only recently his King Crimson work. He remained great friends with KC's Robert Fripp and it's thanks to RF's online diaries that I knew about JW's initial illness, although I thought he was well into remission.

Very sad - it just goes on and on.

Audio forum personality JCBrum has passed. According to Ashley James, he was a bright and successful graduate who, like other bright people, caused mischief with the 'cerebrally challenged' on the audio forums he frequented from time to time. The one good thing I'll remember about him though, was his love of bee-keeping.

R.I.P. Deke Leonard, guitarist with Man amongst other things. Bloody good and very underrated guitarist.
