Yeah that's another poor show, just played Ricochet and a few other Virgin Era albums which are pure quality in comparison.

for me the weakest TD era was the father-and-son duo of Edgar and Jerome Froese. I get the idea that Edgar pandered to his son's wishes and rather poppy tastes too much.
It's no wonder that, when Thorsten Quaesching was recruited, Jerome left quite quickly and the music began to improve.
I do confess to liking 'Tyranny of Beauty' and 'Turn of the Tides' though.
And their 'Rocking Mars' live album is actually pretty good!

Don't know why but pulled out Paul Kossof - "Back street crawler". Must be forty years since I last had a listen, lots of bitter sweet memories (I had hair, what happened to flairs? cheesecloth? etc etc).
Still; a prime example of why it is worth hanging on to old vinyl.
