All the Government misstruths and lies cannot disguise this. The facts of the matter are that we cane into it unprepared and the lockdown was far too late when the Government was well aware of what was happening in Italy.

Even by government figures, we are 20% short of the much lauded daily target of 100k tests, on each of the last 3 days.

If mass testing and contact tracing is the way out of lockdown, then we are (again) too little and too slow.

The UK is now divided into two camps: one thinks the lockdown should end on 7th May, the other has a fecking brain.

We should be beginning the process of coming out of lockdown but the government haven't done anywhere near enough testing.

Government has not had a plan for 'resuming'. Been too busy catching up on the things they should have been doing 3 months ago.

My fear is that if the restrictions are relaxed too much we will be back to square one. There has to be a lot more testing. My step son should have been tested as he has a key job in the transport sector and could have been in contact with the virus. Would not feel safe seeing him, his wife and the grandaughters unless they are tested. He could easily pass it on and therfore his wife, although working from home, is not shielded.

Telling it as it is. Shows we are being lied to by the Tory press and the tweets of Demonic Cummings' sock puppets. The UK and US have the most incompetent leaders, Brazil aside, as the death totals clearly show.
