That bottle disappeared by 7pm so another was opened and that lasted til bed time thankfully. Red wine (as long as it doesn't taste of chemicals) is the drink of the gods. And you don't have to drink loads of it to get pussed. It's a different kind of pissed to drinking eight pints of beer. Whiskey pissed makes me angry and I snore for England. :guiness; .

My Gluten intolerance neans that I had to stop drinking beer - but I don't miss it (much). Usually have a glass (or 2) of wine while I'm cooking and then a Whisky at the end of the evening (but not when working).

Current favourite wines are Pinot Grigio (white) and Merlot or Primitivo (red).

Whisky of the week is Talisker Skye and I have just bought a bottle of Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve to try - might open that this evening.

Have been virtually tea total for the past week, the reason being a very nasty dose of this flu which is doing the rounds. As well as not wanting to mix it with the medication I lost the taste. Well on the road to recovery now. :guiness;

Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve

Oooohhh, that's nice.
Super-smooth, slightly sweet, hint of rum.

I fear that this bottle will be emptied very quickly.
