I'll put this one down to preference. I tried a multitude of resistors and capacitors and settled on 15 ohm and 4.75 uf but that was after I swapped the bass drivers .

That is the point, it is a tuned circuit, so tune it to *your* ears.

I've just received a very nice pair of light wood veneered P1's ripe for Doc modding (£10 off the bay) plus courier, so £40 in total.

This time and on Docs advice I'm going to use heavier steel plates - really heavy steel plates. I'm also going use different tweeters and Docs ready doped 8" drivers.

If the AP2's performance is anything to go by, I guess I'm in for treat with new project :grin:

Im a bit cac handed when it comes to diy and far to busy looking after my Estate, Shona, Dogs, & Chickens, etc for all that malarkey... ;) :lol:
Would dearly love to hear the wee buggers though.

I've just swopped out the standard Vifa tweeters for a pair of Visatons with 12 Ohm resistor and 3.3uk caps. A very worthwhile upgrade. :grin:

Docs 8" doped kevlar drivers next I think 8-)
