The whole point was to see what others thought as well. To post my findings prior to would have been pointless.
In all honesty however I didn't like it. Took away somethings, improved others, just not to my taste. Mind you I still use my 1983 lp12 and cheap MM cartridge's AT95Paratrace, Goldring 1022gx. voodoo for some here I suspect
Your findings are your findings. Your preferences are your preferences. Your system, your room, your ears. When you're happy, why worry about what others think?
Thanks for the report.

Its working well and is selling well, the UK mentality is no matter what the price is its too high.
It works, if you can't afford it or can but don't want to get involved hey ho.
A bit like the £155 fuse, its an up-grade, it makes your system sound better, if it fails to deliver you can return it.
Funny thing no fuses sent back out of 3000+ sold that I know about, and no Houdini either.
Bye bye.
I am in the hi-fi trade

There are both positive and negative subjective reports online about the Houdini.
If those that said they did not like it did not send it back then that would be very strange.

3000x155=£465 000 !!!
yes, but you have to take the development, manufacturing and postage costs out of that, so more like £464 000

I'm sure that £155 is a made up price.
I wonder if 3,000 is a made up sales figure...
