There is a club of NVA-bashers all competing against each other so that one of them will get it and then they can complain about the sound.

The only NVA that sounds bad is one that doesn't work.

He used LS3 that he bought 2nd hand at AoS. Quite simply the amplifier is fucked, no matter how many times it is repaired it will continue to self destruct. It doesn't need repair it needs complete rebuild.

I have to get in there as soon as the auction ends and tell the buyer not to pay, and explain it to him / her.

Only the seller can decide if a question is published or not, so any awkward questions are highly likely not be shown for all to see. Pity.

If you contact ebay to explain your concerns as the manufacturer re this prototype unit then they might contact the bidders on your behalf.

Ebay couldn't give a toss, it is a thing, it is sold for a price. Their point is that if there is anything wrong in the description then they can do something. The thing here is there is nothing wrong with the description just information needed by the customer is missing, ebay don't care about that.

The unit was sold to alcarmichael on a 'not for resale' basis. If you have an email or other bit of paperwork that makes this clear...then that might be looked on as a special case? I have found that ebay customer service are at least a little sensitive to the amount of spend that each customer gives them. You'll be worth a lot more to them than alcarmichael
