It’s the coding on the rectifiers that I not sure about and how to match the transformer secondary outputs

Coding on rectifiers - two of the four tabs will have a squiggly line which means AC. Connect your transformer secondaries to these two. It doesn't really matter which way round you connect those two but it often sounds better one way rather than the other. The other two tabs will be marked + & - . Those two go to the capacitors.

Are you worried that you have the transformer wired up wrong ? It looks like you are using transformers with two secondary windings e.g 30-0 and 30-0. You need to first of all find the beginning and end of each winding - put your meter on continuity and if it beeps they are connected. Once you have paired the wires up you then need to connect two of them together to form a centre tap. It looks like you have already done this on your pics. When you have connected them together you should have e.g 30-0-30V - the 0 being the centre.

If you don't measure 60V (depends what voltage your secondaries are - i used 30V as an example) between the two wires you have not connected together then you have joined together the wrong two wires to form the centre tap. Transformers usually have some writing on to help you figure out what is what but yours may not have any on ?

Could be wrong but is the bottom enclosed transformer wired correctly ? The centre tap is usually the orange and red leads connected together with black and yellow going to the rectfier. It does depend on the make of transformer though and might be worth checking the manufacturers manual.

Yes, I agree, well spotted, it looks as if one of the secondaries is out of phase.

Normally:

You can make the red and orange the center tap with black and yellow going to the rectifier

or

You can make the black and yellow the center tap with red and orange going to the rectifier.

You seem to have a mix of the two which may well be a fault.

If it a vergotronix. Its

Gray and purple joined, taped up and then hidden in the middle of trany.
Yellow black to rectifier.

Orange red joined together then to negative on caps.

Those are standard primary and secondary colours, but certainly what Vigortronix use.
