I have a soft nostalgic spot for pop music of the 60s and early 70s. I have recently bought compilation CDs for peanuts.

Stu, give ''The Performance'' a try, very polished and bondesque in places, one of my fave disc of SB.

No more uncool than my love for all things Elkie Brooks ( a fellow Salfordian ).

She did 3 Bond themes so she is alright by me. Also has done some trendy dance stuff with Yello and Propeller Heads plus that Pink cover 'Let's Get That Party Started'.

BillyB Elkie is a class Act either on her own or with Vinegar Joe and cannot be compared with the output from SB IMHO

Goldfinger is one of the all time greats and not just because its a bond theme.
She has a fabulous voice. Dionne warwick doing walk on by is one of my all time favourites and so is dusty son of a preacher man.
I'll listen to anything
