I agree about Tidal Masters. It is the same with Qobuz comparing 24 Bit with 16 Bit on the same albums. That said, 16 Bit can be very good and superior to not so good recordings which are 24 Bit. All things being equal hi res streams are on a par with Flac and WAV rips, but it all comes down to the master. To these days both are far superior to CD.
