I can't remember which board it was on but there was an attachment recently that went into speaker wiring and that attached article did go some way to explaining why some people use these bridges.

Something to do with a room 'boundary effect' I believe. I won't try and explain it because I haven't got the first idea what it is! Doc will be along in a sec to say it's all bullshitGeoff.R.G wrote:I can't remember which board it was on but there was an attachment recently that went into speaker wiring and that attached article did go some way to explaining why some people use these bridges.

Put it this way I wouldn't do it. But if anyone else wants to go ahead, I presume they are cheap so why not. If they are yet another industry stitch up then

Back in early 2000's on a visit to my homeland, to date it still the most esoteric i ever clapped eyes on,
Reimyo CDP , big Accuphase Mono's to Avalon Eidolon Diamond's connected with speaker cables on suspension bridges,
the owner swears it made a difference as it was solid parquet flooring, that day i listened with my eyes which nearly popped,
especially those Avalon's, the finish was exquisite and that diamond encrusted tweeter.
