I love my wee JPW ML-110i. Mostly enjoyed with a Nait 5i.

I cant get the set of JPWs off my dad to compare but I assume he changed part of the crossover or somthing(the original was BI WIRED). Hope this may help with ML710

Maybe the Doc could shed some light

They also have different [inferior] tweeters to the ML310. I have seen that crossover before, its visually identical to those found in the Sonata.

Interesting  I have just messaged my dad and asked him to take the crossover out of his 310s and send us a pic.

Would them crossover work in your 710s ?

A 310 crossover would work but I doubt its very different than those currently fitted. The Royd crossover won't work as the tweeter is different... As I say it looks more like a Sonata crossover [which also use those little Audax plastic cone tweeters].

Thats okay, my aim is to get rid of the crossover anyway... I want a cap in series with the tweeter + padding resistor as necessary, with the mid bass running full range but doped to reduce HF output.... hopefully

I've managed to find a spec sheet of all these old Peerless India drivers as used in the JPW ML range which may be of interest to others...
