The Abbots look nice as well.

Just bought a pair of Abbots off ebay the previous week also in black, and really enjoying them, they live up to all that's said about them, wanted these as having the A60 / A30 combo the biwire terminals were a great attraction. My wife even thinks they look okay - which is a major coup where equipment is concerned :D

Yes, I have a pair of Sorcerer (SE spec). They are one of Royd's better speakers IMO, certainly a step up from the Minstrel. Bit more refined & better tonal balance than earlier Royds, but still fast & snappy with a fantastic room-filling sound for their size. Having said this I also love the Royd Sapphires, more direct & in-yer-face than the Sorcerers at the lack of some finesse and tonality.applemarc wrote:I see that Royd speaker are highly rated here does anyone have any experience of the Sorcerer as I have an opportunity to buy a pair.
