Re: Customer Comments Please
Well I warned many times about the censorship at PFM and how the shills are protected, this just proves it.

Life after Naim ?.......oh yes NVA A80 amps
I posted previously on here about where to go next after I sold a big Naim system, CD555, PS555, PS555, Nac252 +SC, Nap300, PMC OB1i and Chord Signature/Indigo's.
One of the many recommendations was NVA amps, the more I read the more I liked the thinking, its a world away from the other forum the Doc tells it like it is, sometimes brutally honest but honest and bull free quite a shock.
I had kept a Naim Qute Mk1 and added a Cyrus CD transport and some old PMC TB2 with Nac a5 cable. Desperately needing more grunt I took the plunge and purchased two A80 Mk2 mono amps on a 30 day sale or return basis from their eBay shop.
My feedback was 'fxxk me'....'fxxk me, all the money I had spent previously and yet here with a basic system these amps had just blown my socks off.
The detail, emotion and wide open sound stage, the speakers had just disappeared, these amps had just got out of the way and let the music through all that information must have been there all along. I rely don't miss the Naim at all these are wonderful amps.
The downsides are you must rely use NVA's speaker cable and in my opinion interconnects as they are part of the amp, but they are cheap and sound very good. Don't expect glossy instruction manuals this is a small company and the Doc is always online to help. There is also no protection circuit in the amps so double check all connections before switching on and every thing will be ok.
The benefits for me far outweigh these points and I cannot see myself buying anything else for years to come, thank goodness my search is over now back to the music.
P.S. my only connection with NVA is that I am a very grateful customer.

Probably been deleted. I didn't read it but a thread like that would be likely to get heated.

Re: Customer Comments Please
I went back to the old but venerable HH pro amp over the weekend. I tried absolute phase both ways round, just in case.... - it didn't last long.................
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...
