NVA and interconnect cables

Unread post by cestma »

I usually use the SSP to connect the pre P50sa and amplifiers A80. A friend lent me a pair of signal cables Mit Shotgun S1. Do you think that there may be problems connecting them between pre and amp?

They are very high capacitance so you will get high frequency roll-off with a passive pre.

Thanks for the reply. Could I have the same problem connecting them between Dac and Pre? The Mit cables have an impedance selector (Low, Mid and High), as it should be selected?

Cables have a selector switch

Anything in or out of a passive pre must have low capacitance.
