Oh, don't forget the ''upgrade'' fillings for a Naim sandwich  Of course each filling comes with a price tag

I would surmise the person is selling because he reached the top of the Naim food chain (that is, he has run out of upgrade options) and painfully realized the promised sonic nirvana was an illusion all along. Without the hope of any more upgrades to cure the flat and fatiguing sound, he has decided to throw in the towel. A costly journey indeed.

But he hasn't reached the top. Not even close. He still has NAP 500's to collect. Starting with one of them and then going active with 1 for each pair of drivers he has. Plus a Naim active crossover. And he can swap the Spendor A9's for Ovators to complete his collection before selling the whole lot for eighty grand.

Well Naim are doing a social service. Providing a way for late middle aged men to use the property equity that has accumulated, so they don't have to give it to their children
