Re: NVA P50
Boing boing, piano notes now played on rubber strings Is it a sharp, is it a flat, no its a belt drive turntable
Re: NVA P50
I've still never heard a DD turntable that I like. Worst turntable I've ever heard in an expensive system was a Garrard 401 with SME V. The owner had swapped it for a Rock Rference. I guess you pays your money and you takes your choice.

Re: NVA P50
401s are very dependent on plinth quality, SME V is crap like most SME arms. Rock reference along with the Voyd are about the best belt drives made, still warbles a bit. All IMO of course, some people like the boing (Linn brainwashees) and think it should be thereAndrew wrote:I've still never heard a DD turntable that I like. Re: NVA P50
There are lots better than a Rega, but Rega had the flat earth support where you bought one if you couldn't afford a Linn. Dealer bullshit per usual.
