Apology
I wish to apologise regarding my recent “paddy” during the recent events that lead me to ask for my account deleted, and in the process upsetting the Good Doc.
Sorry Richard
I have learned that you really do have to be careful not to get sucked in to the lies, deceits and also to weigh up all the information correctly. The belly monster avatar is back and a lot wiser, flowerpot Seppi has been retired.
P.S. Twisting two bits of wire together or bundling them up neatly totally changes their electrical properties, NVA amps were built the way they are for a very good reason

Re: Apology
A lot of people have been sucked in by his tantrums and lies, and he controls a major forum, so it is like having a fight with Murdoch and the News of the World. Their egos are almost on a par

Re: Apology
A quote from the user manual of an Onkyo CD micro system:
• Using cable ties to bundle audio cables with speaker or power cables may degrade the sound quality, so don’t do it.
So it appears that even owners of Japanese micro systems who follow the advice in the manuals will know more than some "experts"!

Re: Apology
Wiring looms are for cars and computers where cable proximity doesn't matter, it is pure ignorance to think it doesn't matter with hi-fi. It is the same thing as cable differences as DQ has just discovered. If Marco opened his amp and spread the cables apart then he might understand and also may see that his guru may not be as big a guru as he thought. It wont look very neat though - and so Fffing what
