Popped the brilliant little Edens back into the system today. Pure music! They wipe the floor with my (albeit, very pretty) Stirling LS3/5a. Coherence, timing, clarity... they are addictive. Mine are the later MK2 Edens (much heavier than MK1s due to the cabs being steel lined!).
They need to trigger the room node to balance them up, which in my room means putting them against the wall, otherwise they will sound very bass light. Open frame stands are ideal (e.g. Kan stands), but mine play just fine with some isopucks between them and my LP cabinet.
There's an excellent website covering all the Royd models, from back in the day: https://www.roydaudio.org/

I may have to downsize to something piddly like those, moving soon, (touch wood, tip hat to mr magpie) and i am very not sure the massive fanes will fit....
