Goldring Lenco refit

Had a GL59 for a few years and never disappointed sonically- just never happy with the aesthetics
So I used the original plinth I got it with , cut, glued, screwed and oiled to this- I’m impressed with myself
Uni- pivot tonearm
Denon DL- 80 mc cartridge

Is the platter painted white or acrylic ?

It’s a funk firm platter from their vector deck stacked on the original heavy platter- had to extend the spindle

Ah, 50% of the metal platter is hidden in the original recess , I see .
