We often talk about NVA amplifiers being sold at 3 to 5 times their parts cost, compared to items that are sold through dealers being sold at 7 to 10 times parts cost. For further transparency, here's a list of the current multipliers for the amplifier ranges. The first figure is the item price, the figure in brackets is the parts cost multiplier:
NVA S80 £695 (3.18)
NVA S150 £1,250.00 (3.84)
NVA S300 £1,525.00 (3.72)
NVA M300 £2,000.00 (3.75)
NVA M600 £2,500.00 (3.88)
NVA P50 £375.00 (3.90)
NVA P50SA £800.00 (3.71)
NVA AP10H £695.00 (3.08)
Starter Set £995.00 (2.92)
BMU £795.00 (3.33)
The new integrated amplifier will be on a parts multiplier of nearer to 5, to reflect the expense of developing new cases and the wish to provide some trade-in options for owners of 'heritage' NVA amps, such as the AP50, AP70, AP10.
NVA cables are typically on a margin of 7 to 10, which reflects the costs of offering the 100% trade-in scheme.
SC interconnects and LS3 speaker cables are included in the price of the Starter Set. LS3 speaker cables are included in the price of all power amps (apart from the S80).
We hope this information is helpful. Figures correct as of 11/02/2022.

Re: NVA Pricing Transparency
I bought my NVA P50SA a few years ago, used off ebay for £166. The parts cost for the current version is £215.
And then it's not just the parts cost, but also the skill and experience of the designer.
I am not aware of any other manufacturers that are this transparent with their material costs.
We can all speculate as to why that is.

Re: NVA Pricing Transparency
UK Assembly costs are no doubt higher for NVA compared with far East manufactured products so all more reason to blow the NVA trumpet.
