Re: Genesis release
People who hold that opinion are misguided.
There is a common thread between foxtrot, abacab and invisible touch.

There is still 'Seconds Out' - despite the rest of the band mixing out much of Hackett's guitar when he announced he was leaving.

Re: Genesis release
Yeh but seconds out is a Live Album. I have the Abbey Road half track master pressing sounds great.

Re: Genesis release
I ended up watching all of that "Last Domino?" concert.
Collins was sitting down throughout. (I understand he's gone thru surgeries.) His son on drums was nowhere near the brilliance of father as drummer. But then again, to be fair, the "beat"-pop did not allow him much room for impressive drumwork.
Maybe one quarter of the show was non-pop.
At one point I think it was Banks who said you cannot keep a band going for 50 years without going mainstream.( I take this as an apology to the fans of the REAL, older-days Genesis.)

Aye. That Genesis were on a serious decline.
