That looks great, when I first saw the photo my immediate reaction was 'what's DQ put up a photo of his PT for?'

It's up and running, currently with a rega 202 I got bran new for £120 and temp arm board.
Vibration was at 4.2 , bit of damping of the motor and some acrylic washers and it is at 0.4 .
Temp arm board which is why it's a bit high. Although rega don't believe in vta.
I hate to say it's sounds better than the lenco it replaced ,especially with these temp measurers , but it bloody does
More photos when finished.

Better be careful what you say. I'm quite surprised the Lenco fan club hasn't turned up here yet to say you are wrongDaniel Quinn wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 4:38 pm

Lenco people will say the lenco ptp is better than a vintage lenco. I thought this was rubbish, but it turns out I was wrong.

.
MK1 , finished, not bad but not perfect
I'm now going to move on to mk2. Paint the top plate ,not vinyl wrap it. Lower arm board by 3 .5 mm . Figure out a way to lift tonearm without using perspex blocks.
A new plinth surround with better angles. This is going to need a new better mitre saw, but don't tell the Mrs .

Deos anybody want a marine ply heavy platter for a lenco. It's stained on sides and painted black on top. But this is worn and knackered.
It could be sanded or if your good at veneering.
Free to good home ,but you will have to pay postage as it is very big and heavy and will cost considerably more than £3.20 to post a transformer.
