I received my Oehlbach reclocker yesterday, left it to play some music through it last night and done a quick comparison this morning. Using the Topping D30, playing through my NVA amps and speakers this was worth the £50 I paid for it. Removes a touch of digital glare, adds refinement and maybe improves PRaT. I will have to give it a go through my Calyx later, but not expecting quite the improvement since the Calyx has been designed with a better usb than coax input.

When did you order it ? I ordered mine on 10th April but really wasn't expecting quick delivery under the present circumstances . Thanks for the review BTW , I'm really looking forward to getting this .

I ordered mine on the 8th, so 6 days to arrive. I'm sure you'll think its £50 well spent.

As promised I have given a quick (didn't take long to notice the difference) comparison with and without the XXL playing through my Calyx dac and there is definitely an improvement in refinement, more natural and easy to listen to. Tracks by Acoustic Alchemy and Eric Mongrain were used, and just ended up listening with the XXL plugged in. I will say I have not listened to my system for this length of time for a long while (mainly listen to my brother's since it's situated in the lounge) and have noticed an increase in transparency with the upgraded P90sa. Anyway, enough digital, I've just put on a bit of vinyl.
Hope you get yours before the weekend Luckyredfish.

I'm really quite taken aback at how this little box has improved my listening pleasure . Artists who I previously didn't listen to much have now become much more interesting .

Low level listening is also much improved .

I'm well pleased so far.

Very interesting and informative reports about the Oehlbach. The low price and small size make it an attractive proposition, however I am not convinced it would be of benefit to my set up as it appears to dublicate what the i Purifier 3 does to a large extent. I am also a believer in less is more and would be reluctant to add another cable and PS to the chain.
Main System
NVA BMU, P90SA/A80s (latest spec), Cube 1s, TIS, TISC(LS7)
Sonore OpticalRendu, Chord Mscaler & Qutest, Sbooster PSs
Network Acoustics Eno, ifi iPurifier3, AQ JB FMJ, Cisco 2940 & 2960
DH Labs ethernet, BNC & USB cables, Lindy cat 6 US ethernet cable

Second System
NVA P20/ A20, Cubettes, LS3, SSP, SC
Sonore MicroRendu, Chord Mojo 2 MCRU PSs, AQ Carbon USB cable & JB FMJ

Headphones
Grado SR325e/Chord Mojo, Beyerdynamic Avetho/AQ DF Black
