I have an extension that I made about 9n years ago, works just fine.

Given that we were working on a BBC "Sunday Worship" at the time and the music director needed a longer cable, I used what I had to hand, a couple of metres of mic cable and some connectors that were in my box, I think one end is a Neutric but no idea what the other one is.

I have an unwanted Grado extension lead I can sell you if interested?
