My current hi-fi for CD replay consists of a Sony DVD/CD DVP-NS36 player. This does sterling service as a CD player but I now fancy a dedicated cd player again. The last one I had was a micromega stage 2.
The rest of my hi-fi is NVA LS2 speaker cable, SC interconnects, P20, A20, Cube 3.
Any ideas for a CD player welcomed. Did RD mention a chinese player that did the sonic business with NVA gear ?

I think it might have been a Shanling, not sure though. Doc liked the Sony Cdp s1. It might float your boat but then again maybe not.

RD was very enthusiastic about the Shanling Tempo EC1B CD player, which should set you back about 200 pounds.

If you want your socks blown off then get a Cambridge CXC with a Topping D30 or D50 DAC.
