Resistors arrived, fitted. And.... It works.
Listening to beautiful music.

Nb. Please note you mess with nva gear at your own risk. It will not be repaired free of charge and it may not be possible to repair it at all.

I've been listening for a couple of hours and it's very good indeed.
No problem with any form of interference despite using a low output zyx

Moved on to my tt restoration.

I bought a lenco with old wooden plinth. Ditched the plinth and separated the platter from the top plate. Try doing it with 1 hand.

Put the platter to 1 side.
.
Moved on to the top plate. Took the motor off, the idler, and all the electronics.

Is it better than the pink. I ain't gotta clue. I've not listened to them simulatanosly. I think it is better, but I wouldn't bet on it. The pink ain't coming back, so I suppose that says it all.

Before it took pride of place, I pissed about with the speed for a week. No matter when I measured it, seconds, minutes, hours and days, it was always the same.

I am used to speed fluctuation, I've owned an origin live controller. So I was anticipating some problems. But its been rock steady.

I settled on a 6mm acrylic mat glued to the metal platter.
