Linear PSU recommendation (perhaps from China)?
When enquiring about using a digital volume control in front of an NVA passive pre (I've ordered the NVA P50sa btw) - I thought I would make the most of my Auralic Mini - but Auralic's upgraded PSU is expensive.
Is there a Chinese (or other) cheaper alternative that does the job just as well do you know? One that has been tried and tested here preferably.
Thanks

Straight from Auralic's website
https://support.auralic.com/hc/en-us/ar ... cification
Power Consumption
6 Watt for average working condition
15 Watt at max (with internal storage installed) <-- I do have the internal SSD

Its not there, you have to find out what voltage the unit needs.

Re: Linear PSU recommendation (perhaps from China)?
Sorry - I believe this is the correct link:
https://support.auralic.com/hc/en-us/ar ... ower-Input
It is 16V in 1A as standard.
The lowest acceptable input voltage is 14V(1.2A) and the maximum is 18V(1A).

Re: Linear PSU recommendation (perhaps from China)?
Thanks. Any experience with this one? Looks very flexible in the sense you can change voltage 5v 7.5v 9v 12v 16v 24v - and use with other equipment if necessary.
I wonder if the two outputs can also be variable; 15V for one and 12V for another as an example.

I have this one... More expensive but USB and variable output (not at the same time) and ships from the UK. Need to take the lid off and disconnect the fan though
