Re: Political Correctness
I'd guess it's a fairly safe bet that 90% of forum members are white, heterosexual, middle-aged men, who are only offended at 'PC gorn mad' and can't understand how anyone not white, male and heterosexual could possibly be offended by racism, sexism or homophobia.

"Aiming to provide at least 70 percent of places on apprenticeships, traineeships, internships and work experience for people from lower socio-economic backgrounds"
Taken from the BBC Diversity & Inclusion policy. Fair?

To answer your question properly, you would need to know the overall diversity policy of the organisation and their current and historical diversity figures.zebbo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 12:07 pm I'm gender neutral, how dare you assume anything!!

If your question were 'Overall, is positive discrimination a good or bad thing?'...that would be easy to answer.

Re: Political Correctness
Placing any defined percentage on employment applications is wrong plain and simple.

Re: Political Correctness
If you want to address an imbalance in the diversity of your workforce then it appears to be an entirely logical thing to do...
