In my vintage / vintage inspired system...

Image

Thank you to Ant for brilliant work. He is super helpful, knowledgeable and expert. And, thanks to wiicrackpot for letting me buy his AT tonearm. It's a great match for the Lenco and the 103. Must also mention Andy-831 who bought his slate plinth Garrard all the way over to the wilds of West Durham to get me hooked on Idlers!

Proper write up to follow over next few weeks.

Nice turntable Paul. Might inspire me to pull my finger out with my Lenco project.

Those very old Lenco arms aren't as bad as you'd think either ime. In addition to Ortofon and Grado, Audio Technica now do 'pro' versions of their new VM 95 series - https://eu.audio-technica.com/cartridge ... net/AT-XP5 - which should be a more durable version of the VM95E, which these arms should also take well (I bet the GL58 arm would have been good for the DL103 as well, wiring permitting, but no, I haven't tried it). The later GL72/75/78 arms in serviced condition should be fine with most cartridges up to £200 these days and the K9 (AT520 or 530 now) and DL110 were always a great match I remember.
