Re: This prog is not for you, cocksucker
Do you mean:
YES 'Fly From Here - Return Trip' with new vocals by Trevor Horn?
This album is a continuation of the 'Drama' line-up and features an extended work left unfinished after the original sessions in 1980.
That's my kind of prog.

Re: This prog is not for you, cocksucker
Then I despair of you.
Return Trip is a follow-up to Fly From Here and FFH a follow-up to "Drama" .How sad is that?
I've been out of touch with YES' output and only now just learned how little STUDIO cds they have done in the last two decades (mostly they have been trotting-out old horsies live instead of creating new.) Look at the output:
a cd in '99, "Magnification" in 2002 I think, that mediocre/terrible "Heaven & Earth", Fly From here" and now, 4 years later ...this. That is not much fresh movement in a LONG time
Half the cd is a re-do but, surprizingly - to me anyways - the redo bit is way better than the new tracks - no instrumental prowress (only the acoustic guitar piece) , all verbose, vocals heavy, vocals carrying the melody - and worse yet , one or two vocal melodies are close copies of lines from "Drama".
This does not add up to much.
Frankly YES have not done anything (with exception of Live Keys to Ascension) reasonably interesting since "Going For The One." (and - okay - "Drama" wasn't bad.)
And wtf is this? - Howe SINGING on one track?
Basically a train-wreck.
Lite-prog.
Bland.
Mediocre.

'Talk' from 1994 is also pretty good - but is virtually a Trevor Rabin solo album backed by Yes.

Missy, if you're disappointed with the later Yes albums then there is one side project that is interesting:
CIRCA. Formed by Tony Kaye (founder member of Yes), Alan White (since 1972) and Billy Sherwood (involved with Yes since 1991 and now full member).
This group, around the core of Sherwood and Kaye, have released several albums in the last ten years which are high-energy, complex neo-prog in a similar style to Spock's Beard.

Re: This prog is not for you, cocksucker
After having a quick scan through my Yes CD's, I will agree that Yes studio albums after '90125' are patchy, at best:
'Big Generator' (1987) has good moments with a couple of powerful tracks.
'Anderson Bruford Wakemen Howe' (1989) Shades of former glories. Some good tracks here.
'Union' (1991) is a messy attempt to combine half-finished albums from ABWH and Rabin-period Yes. Dodgy.
'Talk' (1994) I like, one of the better later discs.
'Open Your Eyes' (1997) is, for my money, one of the least interesting things Yes have ever done. Avoid.
'The Ladder' (1999) This one doesn't shake my tree either. Ho-hum.
'Magnification' (2001) is actually quite good, Yes with a complete orchestra. Back to their 'classic' sound.
'Fly From Here' (2011) The Buggles are back! Downes and Horn return to complete some unfinished business with excellent results and NO Jon Anderson. Great!
'Heaven & Earth' (2014) Can't get to grips with this as I don't like the vocalist's sound.
I would just like to mention a truly superb album in the same genre here.
Asia 'XXX' (2012)
Asia - XXX (Full Album + Bonus Tracks)
Wonderful record from John Wetton, Steve Howe, Geoff Downes and Carl Palmer.
Love it.
