Just read their legendary recording engineer, Geoff Emerick has passed away.

The only Beatles album that I really dig.

Bought it in the mid 80s after hearing 'Cry Baby Cry' on a mate's 'mix tape'...

Emerick in his book ,"Here,There and Everywhere" states that the White Album is "virtually unlistenable". (Could be because he had nothing to do with it - he did the psychedelic-era Beatles albums and Abbey Road.)
