But the difference between them is explained quite clearly at eBay all you need to do is read. If you are sold one as the other then give it back and get your money back.

Re: AP70 or AP50
excuse me but I looked at both ebay pages and could not SEE anything to differentiate the two amplifiers, no external text, different number of inputs etc. Perhaps with both physically before me it would be more visible but I could not visually tell them apart.

Re: AP70 or AP50
As at eBay
NVA AP70 Specifications:
Inputs - Six line level
Outputs - 4mm speaker sockets, Tape out.
Power Output - 60w per channel
Power Supply - 2 x 160va
Dimensions - w430mm x h90mm x d320mm
NVA AP50 Specifications:
Inputs - Six line level
Outputs - 4mm speaker sockets, Tape out.
Power Output - 50w per channel
Power Supply - 1 x 160va
Dimensions - w430mm x h90mm x d320mm
Same case so look the same as you can upgrade the 50 to the 70. Main observable difference is weight.

Re: AP70 or AP50
As I said nothing external is different so putting myself in the position I guess my next question would be might is it possible to quote the two weights? Then mr troll could place his purchase on his scales and work out which he had.

Don't be silly, he doesn't have one, this is troll tricks again, probably snakeoil. they look for any angle. All the signs were he was a a troll but he had a real IP to Virgin, so I let him in.

Re: AP70 or AP50
Not and have a stepped attenuator fitted. There is not room for both in the case.
AP50 to AP70 = £250.00
AP50 to AP70 = £250.00

Re: AP70 or AP50
Sorry Doc, but I missed the question. I always accepted your opinion, and I'd leave the decision to you. I simply don't have enough info to choose. Please, do the better! It will be paired with Cubettes, LS5, SSP, and digital source.
