There's nothing suspicious about sending your phono stage to a bake-off. Jez is allowed to make a good phono stage. He put it up for comparison and it did well. I'm not a fan of foo, either, but on the other hand Brooky hosts these bake off for enthusiasts to compare kit that he doesn't even sell. He gives his time, his premises and his hospitality. I hope he continues with it. Brooky bought an NVA phono stage and regularly posts about how good he thinks it is. Is that cause for 'suspicion'?
Brooky's NVA should have come straight back to Doc for checking (or to Nick), and Mark's subsequent posts on AF are unhelpful.
