Impressed br SuRie. An idiot grabbed her mic but she kept going.
I'm enjoying the show - it's a laugh as always.

Nope.
Missed out by 2 places on 800 quid. Otherwise = yawn.

Austria was never going to win, even though the Juries voted it as the winner.Pianist~Envy wrote: ↑Sat May 12, 2018 11:57 pm Nope.

Large parts of Eastern Europe are still too racist to vote the Austrian entry as the winner.

Re: Eurovision song contest......!!!
It has nothing to do with music anymore, they are performance artists and the more shocking and weird the better, modern day clowns. The audience are obviously children.
Bearded Lady, Fat Loony, etc The more abnormal the better - just freaks, next it will be dwarfs or giants, or any other versions off fairground freaks - banned now as politically incorrect at fairs they have gone to Eurovision and pretend to sing.

Re: Eurovision song contest......!!!
Because everyone has HD big televisions it has to be a spectacle. It's become more about the visual than the music. Allowing special effects and using backing tracks has killed it. You used to have an orchestra and each country had a musical arranger/conductor that was clearly visible. It's ironic that Israel really started this with 'Dana International' and have cleaned up again with the gibbering fat girl. Next year we should find a fat black one legged lesbian for our entry. Dead cert to win! - Oh wait a minute I forgot the Europeans all hate us apart from wanting to come here and use our health service and benefits.

Re: Eurovision song contest......!!!
It's not about the winning it's about the taking part.
Just like being part of the EU.
Public voting. The UK always does worse from the public votes than the jury votes, because we're the Millwall of Europe. The bland Ukraine entry went from a jury voted 26th and last place to a final 17th place, because those Russian speaking, former Soviet Union countries love voting for each other.
The UK hasn't had a good gimmick since Bucks Fizzes velcro'd skirts.

I always watch it simply for the cheese!
However, I think it's time we left them all to it, and take our money with us!
