H2U2!!!
That's Hydrogen and Uranium. Don't think I'd want to be anywhere near that!
Maybe it's OK, after all it's Alien Crystal.

Re: (in)FAMOUS SLURPS
H2u2 is impossible to manufacture...
The closest is uh3 (uh4)
Uranium hydride is a highly toxic, brownish grey to brownish black pyrophoric powder or brittle solid. Its density at 20 °C is 10.95, much lower than that of uranium (19.1). It has a metallic conductivity, is slightly soluble in hydrochloric acid and decomposes in nitric acid.
I would also not like to be in the same building with that one

Nothing to see here...

Fools, their money and a never ending desire for the finest reproduction of recorded music ?
Far better if they tried NVA, then perhaps they would release they'd made audio nirvana - well almost
Shame I cannot afford to scale all the way to the top of NVA

The point is you don't have to, I am not a flat earth slurper, there is no bullshit that the magic is the next step - the magic is the first step, the rest is icing and flavour.

Re: (in)FAMOUS SLURPS
that's bloody good to know Doc!
fully aware of that Sir
Very glad I'd made that first step with a P50 and SSC's a few years ago, but the itch still remains - if I had the room and the reddies, I'd love to go Statement before anything elseDr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: ↑Sun Mar 11, 2018 6:21 pmthere is no bullshit that the magic is the next step - the magic is the first step, the rest is icing and flavour.

Re: (in)FAMOUS SLURPS
brilliant site, well worth a browse - Kamilla Liljegren (founder of the company) not only encases H2U2 in Fimo (my daughters loved playing with that stuff) but also sells Jesus Christ jig saw puzzles

Re: (in)FAMOUS SLURPS
A quote on the about page from my last company.
"In the very early days of Not hear please® The same Irishman, made up many of the prototypes himself, building a sizeable number of the cables that customers own. This experience coupled with his understanding of material science, allowed for an extensive mental-database and thus, the ability to visualise simulations of various materials, configurations and how they would probably behave. A huge short cut to the iterative design of physical cables. The shear volume of work has been made manageable by this ‘mind hack’ shortcut."
Who,s mind did you mind jack then is my question.???
All I recall from those days is coming home from work to find is Sir pulling his hair out and almost in tear because he could not solder the cable , it took me minute he had spent all day and just wasted metres of cable.
A true slurper soon to be Knighted as Sir Slurp.
