Well Tellerium Q must take the prize for the largest slurp. I wonder how much of that £5000 is MCRU slurp, a lot I imagine.
It is our fault we have allowed this to happen, are there really people who buy these. TQ is run by the marketing man after he some how got rid of his partner the designer Colin Wonfor, nothing has been designed since, just more and more ludicrous marketing and more and more slurp and ludicrous prices.
Why aren't the other forums pointing at this, or are they secretly in on the game - there is a lot of slurp to go around.
It frustrates me so much that our hobby has fallen to this level.
Well Doc it was my own fault, I trusted a friend, got him involved with Catch 22 when I was designing bits for Naim and other, I saw he was short on funds and got him more involved so money could be earned.
The cable to be honest came from experiments myself and Alan Elsdon did in the late 1970's to early 1980's but the cost to make it then was crazy. And the famous monster cable came out.
And as you are aware prior knowledge can or should not be patented.
So my fault in allowing a slurper into our hobby/business realm with no prior interest or knowledge.
I should have seen it coming first wanting to build and sell a new SSR based on my work, and a digital audio filter, and transformer designs under the new company called IPI Technology Ltd.
Me big plonker sorry guys.
And now the money is with them he can afford to pay for legal and adverts, so why would a fragile forum attack??.
And lets face it legal cost are crazy, just to take them to court was over £15K and it was sitting on £100K plus so what chance do you stand none.
So Legal + Money = Right (or else)
This is the SSR design I did and owned but sold it out so I could move from Scotland to Somerset.
