My physio says she can feel my muscles move my arm , they are just to weak to move it . Wether it gets stronger we will wait and see.
Considering death was on the agenda, if I escape with just my arm being non-functional ,I will happily live with it.

That's very good news Dan, have faith in your body and mind. I really think given the news your arm will improve.Daniel Quinn wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:45 am My physio says she can feel my muscles move my arm , they are just to weak to move it . Wether it gets stronger we will wait and see.
OK no two strokes are similar but my left arm (& I'm a lefty) was was flying around at first with no control at all.
I'd say that now it is 95% functional, with no sense of feeling in the tips of my index and second fingers.

I walked from my downstairs bedroom to the kitchen, going past the middle room with no assistance , just a quad stick. I am fuckin happy.

Good news! I cannot claim to have recovered from a stroke, but I can thank life saving medication for an incurable autoimmune disease. Each step forwards even for something so mundane as being able to have a shower or clip your own toenails seems like a great triumph.

I am currently learning to go up and down the stairs in preparation for my move upstairs and I'd pretty much given up hope on my hand/arm , when suddenly my fingers moved in sinc with my brain telling them to.
3rd April we are having a wet room fitted and then I'm able to move upstairs.
