Things that make you feel young

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

Coming back by bus the other day I was stuck waiting in a bus shelter with a bunch of young teenage school girls who couldn't stop talking, so I talked to them, all this "well yer" speak seems to be dying, they were completely intelligible and great fun to chat with.

Yes, children have a habit of making you feel young and old at the same time. Lifting and carrying the young ones as they get older really is bad for the knees. But the laughter and good times they bring are priceless.

Enjoy little DQ, you are lucky to have him

Currently carrying a 12 year old up and down the stairs, now that is great fun...not.

Fell off a high stool at school and dislocated her knee, would have been easier is she broke her leg and it was set in plaster.

There is one small good thing about the problem you had DQ - none of the family will take you for granted again, they now know what they lose as they came so near to it.

My 2 year old grandson who lives with us keeps me young. Binged out on Fireman Sam this morning.
