I sincerely wish him a quick and full recovery, and my sympathies go to his wife and children in this worrying time.

Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: Thu Jul 13, 2017 11:07 am Three threads have appeared. AoS don't like him but all the best. AT (so far) don't like him but all the best. SOA (snakeoilaudio) pity he didn't die and better if it had been me (Doc).
Sorry guys. I simply boggle at how anyone (SoA) could act like that. They are more deserving of pity than condemnation. Let's pray for a change of heart.
Children mostly misbehave for attention...I had forgotten SOA existed.

I can't quote. But Doc is right, I am a tough cookie. My first pm to him said, I am aware he wasn't loved by all and will take whatever is thrown. DQ is a believer in freedom of speech even if it is utter shite

I do find it strange, but mainly because it's so far from the way we Quinn's approach life. Wishing someone dead is just malicious clap trap. We deal with facts not nonsense. He is loved.

I'm sure a smile will be raised when I mention this to him as he comes round. I do wish they would seek some help because that kind of anger can lead to a stroke and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Anyway. I was trying to search threads but can't shift through them fast enough. Has he mentioned an ideal playlist anywhere? I know some songs he loves but I was mainly screaming at him to turn the bass down.

DQ mentioned these as songs for the car...

Car songs are different from Hifi Songs , you need songs that are invariably shortish , no long instrumental solos and ones that everyone knows the lyrics two . Of the top of my head from times I was student travelling to Oldham Athletic away games and round france to watch world cup 1998.

1. Tom Robinson - 2468

Yep, I would disagree that AT didn't and doesn’t like him, I did very little other than argue with him, no higher sign of liking someone in my book. If I dislike someone I ignore them or treat them politely if I really dislike them.

Pretty much the same as me.

Whilst we all have our differences on forums and things can get a bit heated, it's all just a storm in a teacup and of no importance. The important things are love, health and family. Thank god Daniel's got two of the three and let's hope he regains the third as soon as possible. He needs to get back into the game, if only to give me something to rail against!

DQ listed these albums in the 'Loan Service' thread:

Prefab sprout - steve mcqueen
Genesis - abacab
Danny Wilson - this is danny Wilson
Hall and oates - bigger than the both of us
Steve windwood - back in the high life
Moody blues – melancholy man
Phil Collins – In the air tonight

Any of these will please him.
Joy Division might just be too somber at the moment and DON'T play 'Calling All Stations' by Genesis - he hates that.

Thank you fretless and savvy. I am still getting my head around a new phone and the forum so no quoting ...yet

I just popped over to Soa, I remember now DQ telling me about a thread in his honour, we had to start referring to toddler DQ as the golden 'boy' to avoid any confusion with the golden child.

Any other recommendations of things for him to listen too would be appreciated. Still not alert but he is showing signs of relaxing with the head phones on.

YAWANKER showing himself to be as odious as everyone on HFS knows him to be. Some heartless b'stards in this world.

Appears most of the others actually have a heart and sense of sadness regarding DQ and his family's situation.
